Krahasimi I haplogrupeve te Arbereshet nga ato te shqiptarve tregon qe ata mund te jen perzier gjate viteve me Italianet e jugut. Dallohet perqindja e madhe e haplogrupit E (Jo xV13) qe nuk egziston te shqiptaret. Po ashtu edhe perqindja e ulet te Arbereshet e E-V13, J2b, dhe R1b-L51 xP311 qe jane ne perqindje shume me te larte te shqiptaret.
