Profesori me siper, ka anashkaluar disa argumenta, si psh: " Pse bihet lehtesisht dakord qe te ashtequajturit mikenas, te quhen greke, sa i sakte eshte 'deshifruesi brilant' per kete zbulim?", "pse gjuha e mikenasve na qenka greke, dhe jo nje emertim tjeter", "pse ka nje nderprerje qyteterimi dhe shkrimi ne Periudhen e Erret", "te cfare race ishin 'Bijte e Herkulit'", "a ishin "greket" nje race, nje kulture uniforme, apo ky eshte term konvencional, ashtu sic e pranon ai ne fillim te leksionit" dhe mbi te gjitha " cfare i ben ata 'greke', gjuha? Pra ata jane greke sepse indicja jane "greket e rinj", apo e kunderta"?
