Para disa ditesh, kombi grek festoi ne te gjithe boten, festen e Pavaresise. Natyrisht deri ketu nuk ka asgje te jashtezakonshme, por nje paradoks eshte i dukshem, kur sheh menyren si festohet ajo. Gjithkush do te priste te shihte episode te nje feste, qe revokojne pikerisht momentet qe lidhen me pavaresine e ketij kombi nga pushtuesit e huaj. Por ne fakt ajo qe sheh vertete, jane demonstrime rudimentale, te nje politike shoviniste qe ben thirrje per ekspansionizem dhe urrejtje, kryesisht ndaj shqiptareve, qe per arsye te pozites se tyre te dobet, jane objektiv i lehte i shovinizmit.
Ne nje manifestim Mars 2019, ne Boston USA, kortezhit festues i prin nje dyshe qe mban nje flamur te Vorio-Epirit:

ne qender te te cilit, ndodhet fotografia e te ndjerit Konstandin, qe sipas te gjitha gjasave, i ishte nenshtruar nje trushplarjeje kriminale, per te urryer token qe e lindi. Ky individ nuk eshte nje hero dhe kauza per te cilen ai ""luftoi"", eshte nje kauze e stisur. Shqiperia dhe Greqia nuk jane vende armike, por politika greke shfrytezon cdo gje per te krijuar nje imazh konflikti midis dy kombeve, atij shqiptar me nje tradite etno-kulturore te spikatur dhe atij grek, qe ne pamundesi per te demonstruar nje identitet etnik te vecante, vjedh ate te shqiptareve. Nga e njejta ceremoni:

kostumet e burrit dhe gruas me siper, jane thelbesisht shqiptare dhe perdorimi i imazhit te tyre, neper festat greke, eshte nje paturpesi e madhe propagandistike, qe nuk duhet te ndodhe.
Nderkohe, ne po te njejtin festim "pavaresie", kjo propagande nuk harron ti vendos nje emer tashme bajat, ate te Vorio-Epirit, nje krahine qe i perket nje shteti tjeter, asaj qe qartazi eshte nje pretendim territorial dhe ne asnje menyre nuk i eshte hequr, asaj qe sot quhet Greqi ne asnje moment te kohes:
