"Moreover, you scorned our people, and compared the Albanese to sheep, and according to your custom think of us with insults. Nor have you shown yourself to have any knowledge of my race. Our elders were Epirotes, where this Pirro came from, whose force could scarcely support the Romans. This Pirro, who Taranto and many other places of Italy held back with armies. I do not have to speak for the Epiroti. They are very much stronger men than your Tarantini, a species of wet men who are born only to fish. If you want to say that Albania is part of Macedonia I would concede that a lot more of our ancestors were nobles who went as far as India under Alexander the Great and defeated all those peoples with incredible difficulty. From those men come these who you called sheep. But the nature of things is not changed. Why do your men run away in the faces of sheep?"
Letter from Skanderbeg to the Prince of Taranto ▬ Skanderbeg, October 31 1460

Can you please stop recycling the same thesis over and over again. You have completely zero arguments to drop the fact that the language you speak today was evolved not from the Ancient Hellenic vernacular language, but from the vehicular language of the Byzantine Empire and Eastern Roman Church. At the same time you know nothing about the everyday language of a common Hellene. I assure you the spoken people's language of that time was not only different from what you call Modern Greek, but also different from what you call Ancient one. The name doesn't make you a Hellene.

Not only Greeks have spoken Greek but Illyrians too were all Greek speakers and that makes Illyrians not the ancestors of the Albanians.

That's the reason that we have only a natural descendant of the vernacular so called Ancient Greek language, and do you know what, I got news for you, that is not Modern Greek, but Albanian.

ther is not any greek alfabet befor 403/2 bch.at 403/2 they use for the first time the ionian alfabet.the ionians do not speak the same language with greks language.the ionian one is a unknow language and athens use this language before Gorias from Leondine Sicely make(born) this language like culture language..by 4 dialects...and noone from this dialects isnt greek , like we know the greek today.
