Sipas Aristidh Koles gati 30% e popullsise arvanite( qe sihte grupi etnik me i madh ne Greqi), ishte muslimane deri ne 1821.Kreta si ishull ka qene rreth 300 vjet muslimane shqiptare.
Kthimi ne te krishtere filloi pas 1821.Shumica ju shtuan mbiemrat e tyre muslimane nje -s qe ti greqizonin.
Sa per personin me siper eshte ose arvanit ose ndonje turk i mbetur ne greqi.
Shikoni mbiemrat muslimane te arvaniteve se si jane greqizuar.
Qazimi-Kasimis emri i ish zv min te jashtem grek.
Karaxhaferi-Karaxhaferis
Labi-Liabis etj.
Apo katoliket
Pali-Palis
Gjoni-Gjonis etj

kembimi i popullsis shkaterroj gjithicka...ose je ortodoks edhe si rrjedhoj greke, ose te cuam ne azi...ky eshte gjenoncidi me i poshter qe ka njohur historia ,por askush nuk merret me te.
