Kot vure buzen ne gaz. Me gjej qofte edhe nje nga ato komente. Kur te kisha permendur dicka nga Mufit Bej Libohova, ishe nervozuar keq duke e cilesuar figure ambigue qe kishte firmosur dhe Protokollin e Korfuzit(e ngaterron me Mithat Frasherin ketu!).

Te sjell dhe nje xhevahir tjeter nga Mufit Beu. Prape ne hyrje te librit shkruan:"Me 1443 dezertoi nga kampi otoman i Moraves hegjemoni Grek Kastrioti dhe vajti ne vendin e te pareve te tij, ne Kruje, ose sic quhet ndryshe Akca Hisar, ku edhe shpalli veten hegjemon te pavarur te te gjithe Albanise."

P.S: shkruaj nga nje kompiuter arkaik i punes, ndaj dhe komentet e mia mund ti paraqes vetem ne kete menyre se nga serveri na kane bllokuar shume site qe mos te merremi tere diten me Internetin.

Prape nga Mufit Beu:

"Nderkohe Aliu kishte mbledhur nje force 4 000 veta ne Lluro ( fshat 15 km larg Prevezes) nen komanden e Muhtar Pashes. Me 12 Tetor 1798 Muhtari, ne krye te kaloresve, mberriti ne Nikopolis ku u perplas me Francezet. Kaloresit e Muhtarit ishin rreth 500, kurse Francezet bashke me Greket dhe Suliotet rreth 1 000. Aliu ne krye te kembesorise kapi kodrat e Nikopolis dhe sulmoi Francezet. Shqiptaret megjithe humbjet i shpartalluan Francezet......

....Aliu dha urdher te mos preken roberit francez. Roberit Grek dhe Suliote ama i ekzekutoi te tere, se i konsideroi kryengrites...

Shqiptaret qe u futen ne Preveze, iu dhane me mani vrasjeve , plackitjeve dhe djegieve dhe vetem me 14 Tetor kur mberriti Aliu urdheroi te ndalojne aktet e dhunes dhe shpetoi qyteti nga shkaterrimi i plote.Gjate invadimit te Shqiptareve 400 banore arriten te largohen nga Preveza ne rrethinat. Aliu i kerkoj Mitropolitit te Artes te perkujdeset per rikthimin e tyre, me premtimin se nuk do pesojne asnje denim.Te gjithe banoret qe gjendeshin ne bregdetin e gjirit te Artes, hipen ne anije me mendimin se do ktheheshin ne Preveze. Por kapiteni me urdher te Aliut i coj te porti i Salaoras dhe aty shume u varen dhe te tjeret u roberuan. Pervec ketyre u zune rob edhe 500 banore te tjere te Prevezes. Ne vend te ketyre Aliu solli dhe stabilizoi Shqiptar Myslyman..."

Shenimi im:
Mesa shihni keta ishin "autoktonet shqiptare" te Prevezes dhe ky ishte qyteti "shqiptar" i Prevezes.
Po keshtu ca vite me vone te njejtin fat, bile me tragjik, pati edhe Parga, e cila u zbraz plotesisht nga banoret vendas qe u shperngulen drejt ishujve perballe dhe u popullua nga Shqiptaret e Aliut.

Mufit Beu:
"Ne fillim te vitit 1819 u takuan ne Butrint, Aliu me komisionerin e Anglise ne ishujt e Jonit (Maitland?) dhe vendosen tu jepet banoreve te Parges nje demshperblim 15 000 lira te cilat Aliu ia dorezoj komisionerit.
Me 15 Prill 1819, Pargiotet bene ne ritual fetar dhe dogjen ne sheshin e qytetit eshtrat e te pareve te tyre. Pas kesaj 4 000 shpirtra hipen ne anije dhe u larguan. me 28 Prill 1819 u ngrit ne keshtjelle flamuri otoman. Aliu e kolonizoj Pargen me banore te fshatrave perreth (Camerise). Me 2 Maj 1819, Aliu vizitoi vete Pargen dhe urdheroi te ndertohet nje teqe per dervishet (urdheroi te kthehen te gjitha kishat ne xhami sipas Aravantinoit)."

…..Janina eshte sot qyteti me i madh dhe me i pasur nga qytetet greke. Numri i njeresve te shkolluar ketu eshte me i madh, njerezit e pasur me mire te siguruar. Ne fakt shumica e njeresve te pasur te ketij vendi i kane fituar parate e tyre ne Livorno, ne Vjene, ne Moske dhe ne qytete te tjera te Italise,Gjermanise dhe Rusise. Por pashai nuk humbet rastin te nbaj ne duart e tij dicka me vlere ose nje peng per kthimin e ketyre tregtareve. Greket, Turqit, Hebrenjte gezojne te njejtin proteksion. Mitropoliti i qytetit eshte grek. Shumica nga sekretaret dhe nga zyrtaret e Vezirit jane Grek, pervec shume oficereve te ushtrise qe jane nga e njejta etni.....

….Me 1798 me force ushtarake shume me te madhe se ajo franceze shperbeu Francezet afer vjetersirave te Nikopolit te lashte, pushtoi Prevezen dhe dergoi ne Stamboll sa me shume koka mundi te pres nga Francezet dhe Greket qe kishin luftuar kunder tij. Por edhe trajtimi qe ruajti per qytetin e Prevezes ishte I papajtueshem dhe skizofrenik.
U soll me egersi te pajustifikueshme ndaj banoreve Grek te qytetit dhe rrethinave , pjeses me punetore dhe me te vlefshme te popullsise se tij, e cila nga 10 – 12 000 qe numeronte para pushtimit nga Aliu, qe atehere eshte kufizuar ne nje te treten e numrit….

Po, Elikranon ka pasur "greke" me shumice neper qytete para Faljes Se Pavaresise Greqise, ne kurre nuk e kemi mohuar kete. Problemi qendron ckuptojme me fjalen 'greke', sepse pervec faktit qe 'greke' ne shumicen e rasteve nenkupton gjithe te krishteret pavaresisht origjines etnike:



por dhe kur nenkupton "greke" si grekofon, ata sjane as me pak as me shume por kolonet bizantine me fuksione kishtare, tregtare apo administrative:



dhe fakti qe thelbin e 'grekut' e perfaqsoka nje prift, nuk mund te futesh ne gare per autoktonine.

migrating to Greece in the fourteenth century when the Turks first
invaded their homeland.In Bent's time the Albanians on Andros still spoke Alvanetika
and dressed in their distinctive Epirote costumes, the men kilted and
wearing Phrygian caps.

Manners of the Albanians. — It has been the policy of the Turkish government to introduce Albanians from Epirus into the southern parts of Greece, ever since a serious alarm of the revival of antient independence was excited by the co-operation of Russia. The Albanians of Epirus are in many respects different from the great body of the Greeks: but those of the central part, such as Bceotia and Phocis, are the descendants of old settlers; they speak modem Greek, like the inhabitants of the towns, and bear a much more civilized character than the immediate subjects of Ali Pacha. Dr. C. gives an account (p. 80.) of an * interesting conversation' with them, and of their hospitable reception of him. He perceived, he says, ' that these poor peasants are not so entirely ignorant of the antient renown of their country, or of its present resources, as might be supposed. They said, that the land they cultivated'had,, once been tilled by a race of famous warriors ; and that it would be found now, as formerly, full of heroes, if a leader were tci present himself'.'
' Neocorio, near the ruin* of Thespia, Dec. 8th.—We passed thenight, as we had done at Platana, in the midst of Albanians,. stretched around a hearth upon the same floor with us; their cattle occupying one half of the room, and the family the other. The same simplicity appeared in all things relating to their manner of life, — the same disinterested hospitality and cleanliness : for although the best Albanian cottage has no hole in the roof whereby the smoke from the hearth may escape, yet the walls and the floor, being covered with clay or plaister constantly swept, are so. perfectly clean, that neither vermin nor dirt of any kind can be harboured; nor is there in these dwellings the same liability• to contagion which exists in the divans and couches of more lordly mansions. For the rest, the condition of the Albanian peasantry, who cultivate the plains of Greece, is so much the same, and their way of living so uniform,.that the description of a single family may apply to the whole community. The great plains of Boeotia and Tliessaly may be said to surpass every other in the world in beauty and fertility. To us the plain of Boeotia appeared as a vast natural garden. Yet the labouring peasants, who are all of them Albanians, —for the idea of industry in Greece has no other association than that of an Albanian peasant, — complain everywhere of oppression: and indeed the labours of the plough can hardly be considered as a peaceful occupation, in a land where the husbandmen appear in the fields armed as for battle. Such, however, seems to have been the condition of the country ever since the days of Homer: and when the traveller enters one of the houses; every thing he sees calls to mind the simplicity of manners which characterized the inhabitants of Hellas in the first ages of its history. The bread is always made into cakes, which are baked upon ' ''. * E e * the the hearth beneath the embers and ashes: while this is preparing by the women, the men are engaged in peeling and splitting the onions to be served with it. The master of the house, after receiving his guests, takes the post of honour, by seating himself against the sacks of corn, which often occupy a considerable portion of the floor of his cottage: there he remains, issuing- his orders to his family until the meal is over; when he encourages his guests to take their rest, by first setting the example, and consigning himself to sleep, without moving from the spot where he finished his repast.
