Shkrimtari lindi ne vitin 1934 ne Pogradec, ndersa krijimtaria e tij beri epoke ne fushen e letrave shqipe.
Xhuvani eshte autori i romanit "Tuneli" qe u kritikua nga regjimi komunist.
Nder veprat e tij te tij, lexuesi kujton "Kembanat e Fundit", "Midis dy neteve", "Perseri ne kembe", "Fan Smajli" etj.[/col]
