Pas ecejakeve, nje pune e madhe hulumtuese dhe perpunuese eshte mundur te botohet nje pjese e mire e vepres se albanologut qe eshte mbajtur i fshehur per dekada.
Jezuiti At Zef Valentini ka hedhur drite mbi shume ane te panjohura te jetes se shqiptareve, megjithate pakkush e njeh vepren e Valentinit. Studiuesi Ndricim Kulla, njeherazi botues i Valentinit tregon rendesine e korpusit te vepres se tij.
“Ka shkruar per menyren e jeteses se kombit shqiptar, per zakonet dhe per trashegimine e pasur qe karakterizon shpirtrat e shqiptareve duke i vene keto vlera perballe kontributeve te qyteterimit europian qe ne i perkasim dhe duam te shkojme”, shprehet Kulla. Ai thekson kontributin Valentinit perpos te tjerash, vecanerisht ne studimin e gjuhes shqipe.
“Eshte nje kontribut ne fushen historike sepse korpusi i veprave te tij karakterizohet nga studime qe perfshijne nje periudhe 500 vjecare”, shton Kulla. Korpusi i vepres se Zef Valentinit i botuar ne shqip nga “Plejad” arrin ne 30 vellime deri me tani, te mbledhura e te dokumentuara mes mijera skedash ne biblioteka dhe titullohet "Akte albane-veneze te shekullit XIV-XV" dhe gjendet e plote ne stendat e panairit te librit.
